To our kind-hearted donors,
I hope this finds you well! I am writing today to provide an update on Creemore Village Green activities this past year, where without you, these great strides in community building would otherwise not be possible.
And so, with the sun setting on 2024, we’re taking a moment to look back on the year the Village Green had – and what a year it was! 2024 was punctuated by strengthening our relationships with important community partners, consistent growth in events and awareness, and steps towards sustainability.
The Village Green is a burgeoning leader in community building and we have effectively collaborated with important partners including Creemore BIA, Purple Hill Arts & Heritage Society, Creemore Springs Brewery, Creemore Farmer’s Market, Creemore Horticultural Society, Clearview Township, and many others. Each of these groups have leveraged our space in support of their own events and activations, and we continue to be trusted with a louder voice and larger role in various community initiatives. The Village Green is also benefitting from greater awareness and diversity. It continues to blossom as a community hub for informal gatherings – picnics, business meetings, dog walks, social groups, fitness classes, kid’s camps – and serve as a dynamic space for hosting events of our own.
We hope you’ve had an opportunity to join us for an event or two this year!
Our successes haven’t gone unnoticed, and they’ve translated into more than $25,000 in sponsorships and having been awarded more than $25,000 in grant funding towards our operations. This is an emerging, crucial component in our ability to foster community enrichment through arts & culture, support our local businesses and drive tourism into our beloved village of Creemore and the greater township of Clearview. With 2025 on the horizon, we’re excited to expand our footprint in impactful ways. Your support continues to play a major role in our success, and for that we simply cannot thank you enough. If you are interested in supporting our continued activities, you can donate here or, send a cheque to The Creemore Community Foundation at PO Box 2013, Creemore ON, L0M 1G0.
Warm regards,
